Home Assist SA provides maintenance cleaning and gardening to help you keep your home safe, clean and tidy as part of your regular supports.
This includes general house cleaning, mowing, weeding, pruning and routine garden upkeep (green-bin friendly tasks).
If you require a deeper or specialist service, such as a hazard clean or end-of-lease clean, we can help connect you with a suitable specialist provider to ensure the work is completed safely and professionally.
Home Assist SA helps you keep your supports aligned with your NDIS budget. We work with you to develop a clear Service Agreement that outlines the supports you will receive and the associated costs, so you can feel confident your services fit within your plan.
We also create a personalised support budget with you and your support network, so you always have a clear understanding of your funding and where you stand.
NDIS funding can be managed in three ways:
1. Self-managed
2. Plan-managed
3. Agency-managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
No matter how your funding is managed, Home Assist SA can support you.
In-home and community support may include personal care, domestic assistance, transport, social and community access, and help with daily living activities.
Home Assist SA works alongside you and your support network to build the right mix of supports to suit your goals and lifestyle - helping you maintain independence and feel confident living well at home and in the community.
We have a minimum shift length of two hours for most supports. In some circumstances, this may be reduced to one hour, depending on your individual needs and location.
We understand that situations may arise where you need to cancel services. We request 24 hours’ notice for once-off cancellations and two weeks’ notice for the cancellation of ongoing services.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee equal to 100% of the cancelled service, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
If you are ceasing an NDIS quoted service, we kindly request 14 days’ notice.
Absolutely. One of the core values of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is choice and control.
You are free to use more than one provider at the same time. For example, you may choose to keep an existing provider for some supports, while using Home Assist SA for personal care or community access.
The choice is always yours.
